Phones should be free to unlock from carriers. They say there's a charge, but if you nag them hard enough and "say they said it'd be free" they'll do it!

Good price too, I got one (two if you count one with a cracked screen), my nephew is after it, but wants it free, lol.

Thanks mate, how can I check to see if it's unlocked or not? Do I just try it out with someone else's sim?

what you could do is ring and say im goign over seas i want to use a local sim. give me the unlock code. well works with vodafone anyway haha.
