The other day when he signed some cards for us whilst in Canberra playing our Comets. What a great bloke he was
we where chatting and i said we needed him back in the Aussies cause he might be able to clean up the tail unlike our team in previous matches ... firstly he say ahh first game back i will need to get a few but then he says dont worry guys i wont let them pommies take the ashes back home with them no way.... he was fairly confident the way he said this as if he knew if he bowled well selectors may give him the nod well he has put his hand up now so the selectors will have to have a good look at him...

I was a bit worried about his injury problems, but I guess you can't argue with those match figures as a testament to his "match" or "general" fitness.

I reckon Harris, Johnson, Hilfenhaus and Bollinger is the way to go for Brisbane, but I have a gut feeling that Siddle will either a) play if there are still doubts over Douggie or b) be picked in preference to Harris.

Glad that he was a nice fella and that you told us so, I am sick of reading negatives about our blokes all the time!

Im thinking maybe they r resting him dont want to overdue it with his knee but it would have been better for him to get a run before the first test.... maybe he might play in the second who knows
