Rules for Bumping a thread?

I have notcied alot of people r bumping twice in a 24hr period is that allowed? How can we police this to let them know if they cant bump every 12 hrs? sorry for my rant

Does it actually bump under 24 hrs? I've made this mistake before.

I thought if you tried to bump it twice it does'nt do anything?

Should'nt really be an issue if that's the case.

once every 24 hours is the rule. If somebody is blatantly doing it repeatedly let us know.

What if they change the terms of their thread, eg: lower the price or something and change their thread title as such?

The old forum software allowed only one bump every 24 hours otherwise it would be merged into the earlier post, this update doesn't have that. If someone is having a bump or a create a million thread-a-thon all it takes is a reminder or let the newies know.

An edit will not count as a bump

What if you edit the original thread, and then make a note at the end, like "price dropped", etc. That's pretty much the same as a bump, yeah?
