bad news for the wolves

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio will miss the rest of the season after an MRI revealed a torn ACL in his left knee, a league source told SI.com on Saturday. Rubio was injured in the closing seconds of Minnesota's 105-102 loss to the Lakers on Friday night. The expected six-to-nine month recovery time means Rubio will not only miss the rest of the season but will most likely be unable to suit up for Spain in the Olympics this summer. SI.com

This makes me so depressed. My favorite team to watch this season so far. Feel bad for Love and the rest of them too, wow, so terrible. Hope it's a faster than expected recovery!

So many player injuries this season too, couldn't have been a ankle sprain or fast recovery could it, had to be the big one. Brutal

I HATE THIS!! It really sucks! Loved Watching Rubio and Hearing About him! Was So excited to be able to watch him on TV during the Olympics but now Thats Not going to Happen!

Heartbroken for him. He was looking like he was going to take the Wolves to the playoffs for once and now he does his ACL.....

I think it's even worst for the Wolves in general. The team was FINALLY looking like they were going to the playoffs and the seasons of losing was over. It's a terrible thing for the team. And now the ticket sales well go down etc.

Just a terrible thing to happen

thats heartbreaking, havent managed to catch a wolves game yet this season, but we have all read the stories and watched the highlights. thats a massive blow.
