Well thats now 41 wins on grass, i believe thats his 4th Wimbledon?

I think he is gonna go close to being the greatest of all time, this guy is a freak.

i cant stand him, but he is just miles ahead of anyone else on the planet.

hes reached the upper echelon of untouchable sports stars like MJ, tiger, bradman etc. hate his guts but have to applaud his tennis ability, bloody freakish! =D>

Yep he's a star! Last nights game was awesome, and it looks like Feds one weakness in the future is going to be Rafa! Looking forward to these 2 battling for years! :D

why do you hate him?
jealous or something?
he is one of the only superstars of sport that doesn't have an attitude problem, and is gracious in defeat..

im jealous of all sports stars, but thats not the issue. theres just something i dont like about him. cant put it down to any one thing...just his overall blandness, every element of him is just, i dunno...milquetoast. perhaps he is too perfect, i like my heroes to be flawed :D

i mean, on the court he is perfect, absolutely no weaknesses to his game. off the court he is a perfect gentleman, a perfect citizen. its like hes a robot.

yeh he is perfect man..
i guess we should all learn a lesson from JZA and hate people who are perfect..

just jk

He actually can be very funny at times, in recent press conferences and stuff. However i wouldnt mind seeing the angry side of him.

But to beat Nadel today, i think has silenced a few critic, stating that maybe Fed is 2nd best.

I think the Fed Express could be one of the all time greats, if he already isnt.

I mean the one criticism that people had of another legend Pete Sampras, was that he was boring....yet he went on to be one of the best ever to play the game.

It will be interesting to see just how many Wimbledons the fed express can win.

Cheers
Matt

I agree, I love the rivalry these 2 guys have going. And considering R-Fed had lost the last 5 meetings between the two, winning this one was huge.
So happy to not see Hewitt anywhere near the final..

I find hes actually quite boring...Sure hes a brilliant tennis player..but hes got no spark !!!Well you know what i mean...just very little show of emotion on the court.
Skill wise not the same i know but bring back mc enrow with his bad temper...damn entertaining:lol:

exactly stevo, thats the main reason i cant stand him. id rather a hewitt, nadal, bagdhatis, mcenroe...they actually show emotion, passion, and intensity on court. even rafter was great, he was a perfect guy off the court like federer but he busted his guts out on court. fed always looks like hes in 3rd gear, just cruising.

just different personalities..
why waste energy pumping yourself up on the court when you can conserve it and focus intently on the game..
for anyone who questions federers emotions, did you see when he broke down in tears at the end of the australian open?

what about when sampras's mate passed away and in a final he was sobbing almost uncontrollably inbetween a set..

don't question the passion of two of the legends of the game.. there is a reason they are the best..
dedication and hard work

did you watch last nights match? nadal only won that set because he got himself pumped up, and showed some passion. this caused the crowd to get behind him and helped him win the tiebreaker in the 4th. its not 'wasting energy'. and anyway, players these days are so well conditioned they can expend as much energy as they want cos they know they can endure a 5 set match fairly easily.

meh, whatever. your a huge fan of his, im not, lets leave it at that.
