RL Scanlens cards - Value?

Hi everyone; this is my first post on these boards

im a newbie when it comes to collecting Rugby League Scanlens cards.

i currently own a Complete 1978 Scanlens set (with all check Lists - have been marked through) - Condition wise i would rate them from Good - Very Good according to this link ( eBay Australia Guides - 1978 Scanlens Rugby league card set )

What are your opinons and how accurate is this appraisal?

Hi, I reckon you'd get between $250 - $500, depending on how good cards are. Probably towards the higher end if cards are very good. Hope that is of some help. Set obviously would be worth a lot more if checklists were in un-marked condition.

I agree on the 250 as the minimum but i think the 500 max is low, Mint condition would go for heaps more. Sets with Dark borders and square corners (ie 78, 82, 86 and 87)
are extremely tough to find mint as damage really sticks out which makes high grade cards from these sets extremely tough to find.
