Hi Everyone,
Can anyone help me?
On Dec 11th I placed and paid for an order with RK Collectables
(Kaylene Hutchins) and as yet nothing from them. The cards ordered
are still on the site for sale. Their email
address doesn't work, I've sent a letter and got nothing back.
Has anyone delt with this person in the past? Can anyone shed
any light on this web site?
Looks to be negative mate, no response to emails, no response to the letter, and they are no longer a registered user on eBay and have had some pretty bad feedback pop up eBay Feedback Profile for rk**collectables** What did you use to pay them with? if it was paypal i would be trying to claim it back. Sadly if it was Paypal gift, or bank deposit or another method you wont be able to get the cash back. I haven't bought anything with them (as far as i remember). Hope it works out for you mate but i wouldn't be holding my breath
Cheers
Brplat
In fact she is blacklisted on this website:
COMPO said in the blacklist thread:
"I've had two non arrivals from eBay Member: rk**collectables recently. After lodging dispute with paypal got my money back both times. Second time paid for registered mail but no show or no return communications from seller. I would much rather have got the cards. Seems to have gone bad in last six months. 72 neutral and 32 negs recently intermingled with lots of happy vegimites. It's a lottery whether you get your cards."
Cricket_Cox also added:
"Seller: rk**collectables**
Country: Australia (aussie sports)
Issue: > Is constantly ripping people off with incorrect item/postage descriptions.
> Not sending items won at low price.
> Making people pay twice for items when they don't arrive the first time.
> Seller usually leaves feedback last when it comes to items where something has gone wrong.
> Doesn't respond to questions.
> If you message them about an item they might respond. But as soon as you bring up the dodgey part of an item, they cease contact!
MESSAGE THEM BEFORE BUYING TO CLARIFY ALL ASPECTS OF PURCHASE!"
I notice your on the Gold Coast Cameron. I am in Robina and mainly buy cases of NRL & AFL with a bit of cricket. I also have top loadfers, pages etc. We are a registered select dealer.
Thanks Glenn,
I'm traveling around before going back to NZ at the end of Feb.
Money running out, but will be buying stuff once home and sell
some stuff to start buying again. Yes I've seen your Ebay auctions
often.
Regards Cameron.

Pity of it is that RKCollectables website gets a lot of google hits on it and items appear to be available to buy through a shopping cart.
Fortunately for me, something about the site gave me an uneasy feeling, so I decided to send an email before placing an order and guess what ... no response. Dodged a bullet I reckon!
I tried to buy some cards off there about 5-6 weeks ago but their paypal wasn't available at the time and email wouldn't work so I gave them a miss.Tried again a week or so later and still the same so I decided to stay away from them. Sorry to here that you are having trouble Cameron I hope it gets sorted out for you.
Thanks for your comments, even though I didn't like what I read.
It was my Christmas money I spent also. How can people do this?
I feel I've been a on the wrong end of a crime and can do little about it.
I think I'll only deal with people I know from now on or do some reseach
first.
Cheers Cam.

I wouldn't give up if I were you. You should be able to log a police report and ask if they can contact the domain host and have the site shut down as they are committing fraud by having an active site with a shopping cart etc and then no follow up and no goods.
At the bottom of their website, are details of the mob that provide them with an eshop - http://www.magicdust.com.au/ Maybe they can provide you or the police some information as well.
If you're not comfortable approaching the police, report it to scamwatch https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/index.phtml/tag/reportascam/ You can see on their website that they support instances where you've lost money and not received goods purchased etc. It may save someone else losing money if you take the time to report this matter!
