Couldn't believe my ears when listening to the radio this morning, Peter Boyle, better known for playing Ray's Father on Everybody Loves Raymond has passed.
Kinda glad they stopped making the series when they did, would have been a very distressing time for everyone involved if this happened with the show still being made.
In his last interviews relating to Everybody Loves Raymond ending, he always seemed a little dis-orientated to me, slow speech, but still never lost his humour.

RIP, he is a Legend.

He was the only thing funny about that show.
He was a great actor. Such broad appeal, I loved him in Taxi Driver and Young Frankenstein.

He played a brilliant character on ELR. He was one of the main reasons why I watched the show.

Got first 4 seasons on DVD, really sad to hear this RIP Frankie!

ill miss those "Maarriiee".... lines.

Was a funny bugger and was a crack up in ELR.
