WOC Group Breaks
Hi all.
Firstly, I'd have to say that I never thought this day would ever come.
This card was busted at my LCS the day after I was there and busted some crusade and hit nothing at all... boy was I shocked when I'd learned the news that one of my PC players 1/1's had been pulled from the boxes I was looking at 24hrs earlier.
As you sometimes get with nice 1/1 hits, occasionally delusions of granduer follow with valuing such a rare beast.. and requests for $1000 obo were the flavour of the day.
I was offering just under half that, no paltry offer thats for sure considering its more esteemed and princely cousin in the 12-13 Prizm Black went off on the bay for ~$350
The offers were rejected and I accepted that maybe It'd never come to pass and life went on.
Today, spurred on by a facebook impromptu meet up at the same LCS for some trades.
An hour into it, some fellas unknown to me came with boxes under arm and I sat down near them for a chat...
It was about 3:15pm when I happen to lay eyes on this forbidden delight and as our gaze met, it sparkled and danced rays of prizmy goodness upon me.. almost as if cleansing me of my past horror box-bust demons.
There was a good lashing of to and fro with values and bargaining and when the dust had settled we were both very happy with the outcome...
And without further adieu I present to you... my precious!
