Resizing Tool - Photos/Scans

Picked this up off another site, but thought if you could add it to OZC, it would make it a lote more "user friendly" for those that have to scroll peoples maildays when they can't be F'd resizing them.

When a user posts an image and if it's too big, this "tool" will automatically resize it, and allow for people to click on it to view it in it's original size (as a new window).

How would this work, and would it be "easy" to do?

Resizes all images to 320 pixels wide so should make life easier for everyone. Please try and keep the image sizes down though if you can and not post massive images as the browser will still download the entire original file.

what size length by width is acceptable?

i usually do 500 by 350 or vice versa, is that okay?

The resizer will resize anything over 640 wide so 500 is ok.

i'd even go smaller than that G,

similair size to the photobucket forum size, and then that way people can click on them if that want and almost ignore them if not

What size does photobucket go to - about 250/300 ?

Ok i've made it 300 wide so any images over that width will be resized and users can choose to click on the pic to open it up further.

they have 2 options

160X120
or
320X240

To be picky, I wouldnt mind if the pics were a little bigger a good example is the below thread

the 5 looks a good size IMO.
