Kept this little sub a bit quiet - was quietly hoping for a good result and wasn't disappointed. A small 6 card sub to use my freebie voucher PSA gave me for renewing for 12 months.
First one off the rank - a card that I submitted and it came back an 8
I peeled it and resubmitted it - this time it came back a 9!
#1 - 1999-00 Finest Grant Hill Gold Refractor #/100 PSA 9
Next card i've had in a box for a while - bought it as a BGS Raw Card Review off Ebay back in the day before I hated BGS. :v:
I released it from it's prison and gave it a new home - as a PSA 10!
Next 2 cards I picked up in a lot off a seller on Ebay - he had these cards as well as a heap of other refractors on Ebay - I made him an offer for the lot and he accepted. When they arrived I was amazed at how great of a condition they all were in. These were only 2 of the cards I sent off but there are a heap of others I plan to send off next time there is a special.
#3 - 2000-01 Finest Grant Hill 33 Gold Refractor #/100 PSA 10
#4 - 2000-01 Finest Grant Hill 173 Gold Refractor #/100 173 PSA 10
Next 2 are cards I got off the same seller, and was lucky to find them. Just happened to look on eBay at the right time on the right day. They both go towards my Topps Chrome Refractor set (which I will update once finished this)
#5 - 2002-03 Topps Chrome Grant Hill Black Refractor #/99 PSA 10
And this one - amazing stuff. I've never ever seen one of them before and as I said I was lucky to look on eBay at the right time to get it.
#6 - 2001-02 Topps Chrome Grant Hill Black Refractor #/50 PSA 9
Mate,Those gold refractors are as sweet as they get,Love them.Love the Deng aswell,Thats an absolute ripper,Beautiful cards,Excellent grades. You must be stoked with those.
It's funny how the peel affected the initial grade of that card. Congrats on the 10's Graham, the gold refractors are so nice to look at, especially the Deng.
Oh I got a question. Have you ever seen a situation where PSA or similar (if there is a similar, lol) grade a card, but damage it putting it back into the case? What would happen if it were a straight Gem 10, and they creased a corner?
