Redemptions

Anyone ever buy any redemption cards off of ebay, and have the seller email them the code to save on postage?

I guess small risks could be the seller giving you a dud code, but that would then work against them as you could claim your money back.

Any advice/info would be appreciated.

I've bought six or so redemptions from US sellers and all but one were OK with sending me the code instead of posting the card. I couldn't really argue the point so he sent the card through COMC. Never had an issue with any of the other sellers messaging me the code through eBay. And you're right about being able to claim if the codes a dud or already redeemed, just the same as not receiving your item.
