It has been awhile since I posted card show and shop pickups on here. Anyhow been overwhelmingly busy over the past year in terms of finishing up with school and graduating from college. To make a long story short, I relocated down to NC for now.
Last weekend I finally found a card show that took place over in Charlotte. After doing more research online on card shows in the state, it was nice to finally find a show near where I live at in NC for now.
Anyhow in comparison to the Gibraltar card shows I have been to in Michigan in the past, this Metrolina Expo Center is sort of a smaller version of the Gibraltar place when it comes to card shows and the flea market. The basketball selection at this show was alright but it was clearly lacking in wax boxes. Only saw about 3 of them the entire show and I was unable to afford any of them.
Well it is nice to finally have a weekend open where I can get to a card show around here. It has been along time since I did this. Now here are the scans of my pickups from the card show in Charlotte:
Obviously plan to save the Whiteside and Jerebko cards for a future IP autograph quest.
JRich card is obviously going to my PC.
Prince cards are for my PC.
Finally nice to get a legible Baron Davis auto. This certified auto is much better then what he signs IP now these days lol.
Those were my best hits from some packs of 97-98 Fleer I was able to get for cheap at the show.
Now on to my biggest pickup from this card show!!!:
Finally nice to have an auto of this former NBA player for a change. I have heard he is hard to get IP these days.
That is all I was able to get from the card show in Charlotte.
Ended up stopping at the card shop over in Gastonia recently. I was able to get a box of 06-07 Topps Chrome. Here are the scans of the big hits I had out of this box:
Wonder if I should even bother sending in the redemption even though it has expired. Oh well for now I guess...
That is all I have to share here for now. I hope to have a chance at some point this year to update my site so I can trade cards again. Much more busier now these days than I have been in the past. Thanks for looking!!!
