I was out of the state last weekend to checkout a school with the family down in Huntington,WV. The last thing I expected to see was a sportscard shop diagionally across the street from the hotel we stayed at. After when it was all said and done, I did enjoy the weekend with my family down there and I was able to stop at this shop before I came home to Michigan yesterday. Here are some recent pickups I had from this shop down in Huntington,WV:
Those came in a big lot along with a bunch of base cards I was able to get for around $30 if I remember correctly. Also included in the lot but not scanned are 4 old school unsigned beckett covers in great shape that I will hope to use for future IP autographs or ttm requests. I was going to look at more base I might need but all of the sudden my mom came in as the time went by really fast there while I searched.
My mom ended up rushing me out of this shop but she gave me an option here. Since my mom knows that I am into the whole busting boxes of cards and all that, I had to make a choice. She was going to get me that box I wanted or I could have this Dual GU auto where one of the players that is on it happens to be a player that is impossible to get IP. Here is what I chose and the result(s):
It is so nice to finally have a KEVIN GARNETT auto for a change!!! As of right now it is PC since he never signs IP and this is my only auto that I have of him. I would be willing to move it though if its for a Garnett individual auto of him in a Celtics jersey ONLY.
