Hi guys,

I did my first BGS submission through COMC and pretty happy with the results.

Iverson 96-97 Finest sterling refractor RC BGS 8.5 - Super happy with the grade on this, and the grade obviously got dinged because of the peel, but I'd pick a lower grade with peel over a higher grade no-peel anyday.

Maker 16-17 GS GU auto /199 RC BGS 9 - Got a 10 on the auto, but pretty happy with this grade as this set can be tricky. Only .5 away from a gem mint.

Maker 16-17 Prizm Silver Prizm RC BGS 9.5 - I'm glad this got a 9.5 as trying to pick one of these off ebay is quite pricey at the moment.

Simmons 16-17 Select Prizm RC BGS 9.5 - I did pretty well on the Simmons in this lot.

Simmons 16-17 Prizm Mosaic RC BGS 9.5 - Even tho these seemed way over produced, I really like the Mosaic prizms. I like that they used different photography as well.

Simmons 16-17 TC The Mighty RC BGS 9.5 - I really like this insert and love that rarer as well.

Towns 15-16 Clear Vision Blue /149 RC BGS 10 - Obviously this wins for best grade, but I am one of the seemingly few who really likes clear vision.

Thanks for stopping by!

Another Clear Vision fan here too! Anything acetate for that matter! Great grades, I never understand how people can pick a card for grading without actually having it in hand....you obviously did a pretty good job though!

..and while I think of it, why would an unpeeled card hurt the grading?

Nice grades! I'm a fan of the clear vision also.

Glad to know there are other fans.

I notice we tend to be on the same wave length regarding what sets we like. I took a stab with the comc subs as you get fairly decent front/back pics to look over and I was fairly picky with what I subbed. I even bought a couple doubles when a card didnt look tidy enough, so it seemed to work out. With regards to the peels they are subject to the surface grade so an scratches, peels or bubbles will knock down the surface grade. Over all this is pretty good for the age of the card and having being raw all these years

Still must have better eyes than me mate! As for the peel, it's an interesting one because I was thinking the peel is there to protect the surface! heh heh
