Ready for the Cricket Season?

Hey Everyone,

My Season opener is only two weeks away and i can't wait!

I know we have a few keen cricketers on here so maybe this could be the Season's chat thread.

My Bradbury got replaced today after an 'incident' (it got replaced with another Bradbury but my other one was awesome)

Yeah Im playing this year u15 A's we'll get murdered. And also playing seniors 3rd's which is turf. So should be fun. I just got my new Puma Calibre Reserve Pink!

Yeah the new Puma's look nice mate!

My Bradbury cracked and i sent it in to get it repaired, they decided to replace it.. sad because i loved the other bat but the new one is awesome as well! Direct from the handmaker in Perth i was told, doesn't have the version stickers so looks a lot better!

Moved up to u/17's this year after we got robbed of a GF berth last year.

I don't know how I'll go this year as I had serious shoulder problems last year and now I can't bowl with a straight arm.

unlucky man and was it you as well who cant play footy cause of your knees as well?

yay this weekend is the opener for reps, can't wait!!

Played a 60 Over Practice Match yesterday, it was long but we need to get use to it. Got specialist positions assigned (just slips and short catchers) and my coach gave me Short Leg for the whole year, i won't be doing too much running in the field for the season i assume!

Early night for me tonight.. as Cricket starts tomorrow!!

Really looking forward to it except for my coach joking on about health insurance because i'm fielding at short leg, but i'm looking forward to it! Should be in their from the first ball as our opening bowlers create a bit of trouble with bounce so hoping for a catch early on.

I would reccomend it though you never know in cricket.

Same. think we start in 2 weeks with a 1 dayer. Not completley sure though.
