Hi guys, it's stories like these that make me so annoyed, that our hobby can be so harmless in some facets but so cruel and discriminating in others. I personally think the card is legit, and people like Joe Orlando think that it isnt all because they wouldnt let Ray see the card get initially graded. They went to paper and printing experts for petes sake!

anyway I recieved a really humbling email for Ray, and I'll leave it you to decide what you think the card is.

Not harsh at all it's fact!


This video looks like their/his youtube channel and as recent as half an hour ago still battling people commenting on the vid doubting the card etc.

You may not think so, but I've seen a fair few of these videos, and many of them state that race has been an issue, why? I dont know. It is america after all, and while yes many people don't see race as a problem, some just can't get it through their thick skulls (aka white supremacists). It's so trivial but I can see where racism would take place in this particular case.

So you think nobody will buy the card because they are black? Yet how many people buy cards with black players on it? Is it because they are black that they will not send it PSA? Or is it just a big conspiracy by the KKK to make people think its a fake?

come on man, do you really think thats what i think? of course i dont think that, all im doing is quoting one of the videos. to a degree i have to say it holds some value, and the reason they wont send it in to PSA is because PSA wont let Ray watch as the card is graded. please, dont take me for a fool, i simply just want peoples opinion on the matter. if you think the card is a fraud, then great! thats exactly what i want to know.
 
here's the other vid off their channel. something just doesnt seem right about a guy paying $1800 for a card. In the 80's. He's a garbage worker. An doesn't know who Honus Wagner is. And springs out $1800 for it. I dunno. Doesn't mesh.



 
yeh, maybe i got a little carried away, but i still think that PSA are being stubborn, i mean Joe hasnt actually seen the card himself, he's just assuming because they wont take it in, that makes it fake. but hey, i dont stay awake at night thinking about this, i just found it interesting haha
 
pause it at 8.23 and it shows the Gretzky up against these guys card, check out the P and R in pittsburg the gaps in the upper part of the letters seem really square... id say it was reproduced somehwere in the 20's....
