the big short - 8/10. user friendly look at the cause of the 2008 GFC. pretty funny aswell. carell and bale are impressive.
daddys home - 6/10. pretty standard will ferrell flick. has its moments for sure, but its nothing special.
zoolander 2 - 6/10. maybe my tastes have changed, but its got nothing on the first one...
pride & prejudice & zombies - 6/10. if you like horror/comedies, youll probably enjoy this. wouldve rated higher but i think i was expecting too much.
deadpool - 7/10. a kinda different superhero story. better than i thought a ryan reynolds movie could be.
chasing tyson (ESPN 30for30) - 8/10. solid boxing doco covering holyfields 'tarnished' career from not fighting tyson sooner. some new (i think) interviews from both tyson and evander.
troll 2 - 9/10. this rating may be misleading. its maybe the best worst movie ive ever seen. if you dont like movies that are so bad theyre good then a 1/10 rating would be more accurate. if you do enjoy schlock flicks, this is a must see. hilarious...

The Human Centipede: 4.5/10. Not for kids, or those with a weak stomach. Almost threw up once and couldnt watch some of the slicing and dicing. Not the worst horrorish movie ever made though. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1467304/

The Human Centipede 2: 3/10. Umm hmmmm. Think centipede 1 but worse? Almost threw up on couple occasions. Had to skip forward about 2 minutes i just couldnt watch. Not a great film, stupid plot etc http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1530509/

Hunger Games Mockingjay P1: 7/10. Not too bad, needed to watch last 15 mins of previous film to remember what was happening. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1951265/

Hunger Games Mockingjay P2: 7.5/10. Nice twist at the end to at least make it interesting. Drawn out though i felt. I really loved the first couple films in this series, last couple were not as good but still a nice series of films. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1951265/

i thought part 1 was kinda tame. part 2 could be the goriest/sickest movie ive ever seen and that includes 'a serbian film'.
i like those types of films tho, so i would rate them higher. although i doubt i'll ever put myself through part 2 again...
part 3 is terrible. steered clear of the graphic violence that the series is known for and went for more of a parody feel. some of the worst acting to be caught on film. no redeeming qualities at all. 2/10.

Was gonna do part 3 this weekend if i get a copy.

Its not the violence etc i have a problem with its the part when sewn together and they have to sh1t. Part 2 i just couldnt bare to watch in that regard

I just watched The Hateful Eight.

8.5/10 - Been looking forward to this movie for a long time, it did not disappoint at all.
Had the great feel of the original 3 movies. Would have liked to have seen more input from Luke but it is lined up nicely for the other 2 in the series.

So I checked that star wars movie out yesterday aswell Id give it an 8, I have always enjoyed the star wars movies and it was not disappointing, but I did feel in a way like I was watching a movie I had already seen before but just not for ages.

DeadPool 9/10 Outstanding movie loved the mix of action and humour Reynolds brought to the character and all the little digs at Hugh Jackman and the Xmen series was pretty entertaining, Don't get me wrong I am a huge Hugh Jackman and Marvel fan but knowing those guys get along really well it was like listening to happy hour sledging between mates!

Deadpool: 9/10. Lost its 'funny' towards the back end but still a cracker movie. Will watch again, soon.

Side note - watched Freaks and Geeks tv series yesterday. Cant believe it was canned back in 2000 with only 18 episodes.
