Got the call at precisley 2:45pm back on Friday afternoon from a friend up in Traverse City. Of all ironic things he would call to tell me about, he ends up calling to tell me that during his lunchbreak at work, he was looking at the Detroit Free Press; and what he saw in the Free Press was an ad that Rasheed Wallace was doing a paid signing. Once I heard those words Rasheed Wallace and a paid signing, I imediately asked for more information from him on that ad. It turns out that you have to have a ticket in order for him to sign your stuff. Luckily I had enough to be able to get 3 autograph tickets. 2 of the items are not mine and are going to a friend I promised I would try my best to help him with his sets since I didn't need this player on premium items at all. With the one item that I got, I finally got that same card done again but this time with the correct marker I wanted it done in for my 2004 World Champs set!!!
Anyhow, here are the results:
Rasheed Wallace 3 cards!!! (2 are not mine.)(Finally got him on the one item I wanted done in my set with the correct marker. At the Season ticket holder party, he wouldn't switch markers. At this signing, they had a blue sharpie in his hand ready to go. Item came out real nice and I was very happy to be able to help out my friend with half of his sets he needed Rasheed on!!!)
That is all I have to share result wise from this spur of the moment's notice event. Talk about 0 reaction time, this signing came as a shock to me. It was the last thing I was expecting to hear going on this entire week since the end of my semester here at school is next week with exams. I would like to thank my friend up in TC for notifying me of this event and I was thankful this went on this week when I was down here rather then when I am home in Traverse City for the summer which will be sometime next weekend.
