Rare Rare Jordan rookie year sticker up for grabs.

I've only ever seen the Kareem in the small prism version so this guy isn't taking crap. Although its not the easiest auction title description to read

Wow!! I couldn't be bothered to read the WHOLE description, so I skimmed and saw something that said "have sold for several thousands!!" Chad, or any other veteran member, what do you think this will sell for?

He's feeding you a bit with the thousands and thousands thing. The normal Jordan one can now be had for about $500US or so. There IS one up for sale but it wont sell at that crazy price and just because its up at that price doesn't make it worth that.

This is a high grade prism and the rarer type as mentioned. Only a few set collectors are around but they are cashed up and most of the time its them not Jordan collectors that pick them up. For some reason Jordan collectors don't get into the oddball stuff unless its from UD, fleer etc although these are WAY more rare than any of Jordan's other stuff especially from that era.

I'd put a value on it of only about $1500US though not because of its rarity but because of the limited demand for this stuff. A lot got burnt the few times its shot up in value so they seem to be a bit more timid these days paying big bucks for this stuff.

Still I've never seen one and only thought this sort of variation existed for the Kareem only.

I've only got the two Birds these days in my PC.

^ Ohh ok, thanks for the info regarding that MJ Chad. I thought through the "thousands and thousands" described in the auction that it'd go for like $10+ K or something like that. Something like a heaps expensive MJ exquisite as a comparison.
