Hey I am new to collecting basketball, and I could use a few tips. I would like to collect Rajon Rondo inserts, autos and numbered cards. This is my first collection and I hope it works out well, cheers guys.

(This may look the same as Vapage's but I was told to not use that account because I made it AFTER I made this one, and I was told to use this one ONLY)

Yes you WERE as per the WRITTEN RULES.

Your best bet is to start after singles from E-bay and other forum members. You are a bit behind the eightball as there are already a lot of rondo collectors out there so prices can be pretty high.

I would Honestly pick a rookie from this years class and go that way. I took two from the 2010 draft one turned out to be a good choice (Avery Bradley) whilst the other (Luke Harangody) did not fare so well. That way you are in on the ground floor so to speak and if they turn out to be great players you have some nice cards but if they are average odds are you did not pay too much for them.
