I do think if Campo hadn't of lost his leg near the end of the game they probably would have come over the top of the Tigers. But once he did go off with what looked like a season ending injury, regardless of my support, i really hoped the Tigers would hang on because a Raiders minus Campo versus the Dragons next week would be a bit of a letdown.
Poor Jarrod Croker... They must be leading him down to the NSW/ACT border and pointing him out of the state with pitchforks. They guy was devastated when he missed that goal, then he dropped the ball in the very next set.
Have recovered enough now after last nights lost to post Bloody Benji Marshall!!!!!!
Yes we would have been easy pickings for the dragons next week without Campo.
Those bloody Tigers at the end when Croker was going for the shot the players where calling out Luke Burt Luke Burt Luke Burt to put him off and Tuquri was waving his arms about Poor Form Boys!!! Even though after the game Robbie Farrah did go up and console Jarrod Croker and told him to keep his chin up
But hey last week raiders win cause of a missed goal this week we loose but thats football .`
As one Simon Woolford said to me after the game Ive had the F........g football for this year thats how i am feeling now

That's perfectly normal during a crucial penalty goal for players to be waving their arms. I remember when players used to turn around, face the posts and stand like they were doing the "I'm a little tea-cup" song"
Goal kickers are used to blocking out everything else anyways...normally at away grounds they would have thousands of fans around the fences yelling much more offensive stuff than "Luke Burt". Croker would have been feeling the pressure much more from 26,000 fans holding their breath on the kick rather than the things you mentioned, i'd be surprised if he even noticed them occur at all.

You are probably right there mate and yes the fans always give heaps to the players and the only player i ever remember facing towards the post was Ray Price.... i just think it was poor form and well the Ref should have told them to shut there mouths and i am sure in the rules it does state that there is to be no movement of oppisition players or anything distracting done whilst the kicker is taking the kick......
Anyways i think the Tigers run has come to a end now that they will face the Dragons....
simple game plan knock benjis head off lol!!!!!
P.S I actually do like the Tigers mate
I think players are not allowed to cross into the field of play during a conversion. During a penalty however players are fine to jump up and down, do cartweels or the macarena if they like.
Spoke to Dugan last night. Told him i was a Tigers fans but loved watching the Raiders this year, unlukcy on Campo's knee because i think they would have run the Tigers down. He said cheers, Campo was a big loss but it's all a learning curve for us young blokes.

No, we stick by our players. Croker actually got a standing ovation from everyone at the post match function. The poor guy, his eyes were so red it looked like he had been crying before he got there.
