Game officially sold out-

Friday night's NRL semi-final between Canberra and Wests Tigers is officially a sellout with the last of the tickets snapped up on Tuesday afternoon.

Just a day after tickets went on sale the last 2000 standing room tickets were sold as Raiders fever continued to grip the nation's capital.

A crowd of 27,500 is expected to flock to Canberra Stadium, the gathering to break the ground record for an NRL match of 25,253 set back in 1994 for what was former Canberra great Mal Meninga's last home game.

The NRL has reserved 50 tickets for the game which will be available for Raiders and Tigers fans who purchase club memberships for 2011.

It was also announced that the first allocation of tickets to the NRL grand final have sold out with approximately 14,000 to be made available on the Monday of grand final week to members from the two teams competing in the decider.

I think all signs point to a Radiers win. Tigers need to withstand the first 20 minute onslaught.

Tigers left for Canberra today for a 3 day camp.

hoping the tigers can get up but its a massive ask down in canberra but u never no, raiders are have been flying for last 2 months u think they might crack soon ....man its a tough one..

good luck to both teams see u the week after

jono

Looking forward to this one. As has been said, the Raiders are not afraid of anyone and would dearly love them to go all the way - the 89 team did it from an impossible position so why not this team too ?

This will be a cracker of a game. I'd be spewing if I were a Tigers supporter considering they lost their home game advantage last week (as they played the Roosters), then the game. Then the salt in the wound - play Canberra in Canberra

What a day it is in Canberra. The Sun is shining and there is a buzz of excitement everywhere you go.
There are raiders jumpers hats everywhere and cars driving around with flags!!!!
Personally we are pumped and the day is taking forever and tonight will be a night of history when the biggest nrl crowd ever of 27500 see The Mighty Green Machine beat the west tigers at Canberra Stadium.
And we will be there in the front row:) in our usual seats:) Go The Raiders!!!!!

Yes im sure it will be tough the first 20 mins but i have the feeling it will be the last 20 where possibly injuries and last weeks 100 min game may come into play.

Good luck for the game tonight mate but im hoping of course for a Raiders victory

Had a dream last night that the Tigers won....was very disapointed when i woke up and realised the game hadn't been played yet :)

Good luck down there tonight Steve.

We know what the outcome will be if we play each other in the Grand Final. Green fungus stuck to the bottom of the Titans boots, cos we will trample the Raiders. LOL
