Nope all my PC is at home,dont know if my house is still standing or not,have to wait until water goes down before I can see what damaged it has done. Cant get anywhere near the house to see it as its like one big ocean of water.
I have lived the area all my life and I have never ever seen anything like it.
Still trying to find family and friends in the area.
Thanx for your concern at least we are safe.

Cards may still not be able to replace, but they are just cardboard at the end of the day. You and your families lives are more important.

Going to donate some money tomorrow and hope no other lives are lost in this disaster

Thanx mate.I really think the house will be OK.It's a big old Queenslander with huge stumps,It's survided for the last 95 years & gone through most of the big floods & still standing.I have seen all the floods come & go up there for the last 50 years & i really think these rains & floods have been the worst by far.

I fear now for those down stream from here to Brisbane...There is a hell of a lot of water heading that way now,so take care you guys & play it SAFE please.

Yep thats right mate,Thats all that matters.I've had to start from stratch a couple of times over the years & will do it again if needed.Although i think we'll be OK & not lose anything at this stage.As soon as i can get back to the house ?? I will be loading up the truck & bringing our stuff down here & into storage.This is still just the start of more to come i feel.

Loosing my Green would be not good though...I've been working on a little project that could not be replaced & will be revealing to all when it's completed.

Thanx mate.We're more worried for my uncle & aunt now,Still can't contact/find them.

I've got a story to tell about this that shows the worst side of humanity i have seen by a group of AUSSIES that i have seen first hand.From some of the people that live around us mind you.discusting.I am fumming about this & heads will roll when i get back up there

I will get to that later though.

What happens when floods destroy cards? Do they totally get destroyed? Still hope the cards and this collections ok.

They are pretty much stuffed mate...A 1/1 is still a 1/1 though & i have 1 of those LOL.Graded cards maybe OK though ??.

personally all good and no damage etc etc. work in the centre of town and some of the things ive seen have been amazing.... more remarkable is the amount of idiots who are out there endangering all of the rescuers and volunteers. and than the looters kick in....

i work approx 300 metres away from where the video earlier was, and also about 200 metres away from the footage showing the cars flowing downstream and into the bridges. so am thankfull was built on higher ground.

we cant drink the town water, power is still cut off to alot of ppl, roads are ruined, businesses gone so gonna be a very long clean up.

just gotta hope there is not too much carnage for the members closer to brissie now.....

dare say the government may have to hand over a lil more than the first million they donated...

I saw the footage of the Toowoomba floods on Sunrise this morning- they did a special, its bloody tragic and totally insane.

aussie2Al hope your Aunt and Uncle are okay...bigrob good to hear you're okay but as you say massive clean-up.

Feel for all those Qlanders who've lost so much, and now some have died and missing just terrible....those in Brisbane take care

Just had word they are OK,Thank goodness.Also just found out that the water is now under the house..Don't think it's going to go much higher now though.Should start steadying soon.My Green PC is now only 6 feet above the water level.Don't think it will rise that much now.
The rain has broken (for now) so thats a very good thing.

Also, take some photos of the Green PC as im curious to think how they look. Would the house become wet and weaker due to all the water? Maybe new house time?

Nah,It's got huge round hardwood stumps mate,They knew how to build them in those days.

I have a bucket with all my Greens in,Just haven't shown for some time because my little project is not complete yet.

Um..... i've just taken out the cards i'm not showing yet,Heres the link to my Green PC.I don't mind letting everyone take a look at them,Shows which ones i still need LOL
