I haven't touched this release but am encouraged by some of the idea's being put forward and also the fact that a ESP representitive is willing to listen and engage their customers.
I agree that excess stock should not be destroyed as suggested by the two new BFF's but don't mind the idea of samples of it being used to encourage new collectors to the hobby, this will only benefit all of us in the longer term. This overstock issue may even become redundant if they as said reduce the production run to a more realistic number once they gauge the actual interest in NRL cards.
A USB card.......I imagine this would be rather easy to find in a pack..... a special release maybe
Bobble heads wow I can hardly contain my excitement
PowerPlay card game aimed at 6-11 year olds......this could be rather embarrissing for us to collect...sneaking down to vending machines late at night in our hoodies and sunglasses.......
All in all I am more encouraged about the upcoming ESP releases....any idea on the release timetable they will operate too?
Are Daily Telegraph / Courier cards a thing of the past with the changing of the license?
I noticed i posted a comment on the facebook page and it was deleted. I'm not happy with the ESP cards. If we have to pay $7.95 a packet for the same 18 packets again i will not buy these cards. I perfer to buy a packet of cards for $3 or dearler for the dynasty but the quality and the odds were better then ESP.
From what Terry told me yesterday, the intention for Limited is to cut back on the print run of cards but add more value into the packs. Think of Limited this year with much smaller numbers of cards produced but with more insert sets and more value per box.
hi so its possible to return the inglis jersey card ,as this is probably the worst signature of the lot very hard to see.what do you get in return ie a better inglis sig maybe white or gold pen would have helped
Yes its possible if the card is damaged. My two Inglis Jersey Sigs were not returned because of the signature, they were returned as the jersey swatch had pulled from the card frame.

Think of the ESP Limited release as a handshake and ESP saying Hello, here we are and this is what we can do for you. I really think the company has started in the NRL card market on the right note, yes there were issues but all those issues we and other collectors have raised will prolly be addressed.
As we have said previously, you can't compare the ESP product to Select, they are totally different animals.

Kudos Matt, very informative and sounds like good times ahead.
One thought that I had while reading the comments was that we still have the option to buy or not buy. I know that in recent times I've been keen to collect everything that comes out - Select sets, Telegraph, Tazos, you name it. Perhaps we should be a bit more patient. Not every release will appeal to every collector, so don't be discouraged that some products are not for you. Wait for the next one.
I have only got a base set of this first ESP release because I wasn't impressed. It has been driving me insane not buying packets but I'm looking forward to future ESP releases.
