Hi guys,

Just saw a lot of cards marked as "progressive proofs" popping up out of nowhere on ebay, for instance the following ones :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-80-TOP...39450039?pt=US_Basketball&hash=item1e76a391b7

Most of them are coming from the same seller, gotthecoin.

Finding these cards very attractive, I was just wondering how I could know the fair price for these kinds of items...is there a price guide for proofs? Do you believe that more than 200$ for a complete set was the initial price when the actual seller purchased them directly from Topps?

Same questions for the PSA/DNA label. Milcreeksports (http://www.ebay.com/usr/millcreeksports) listed a lot of very nice autos, available for around 30$ each. Do you consider that price as fair ? Are these autos legitimate ? Does a price guide exist for these items?

Thanks a lot for your help, and best regards from Belgium !

Vincent

Not sure about the progressive proof, but I have witnessed a psa/dna signing in the US and its 100% legit. I don't know much about baseball but it does seem to represent great value.
