Please let me know if I'm out of line, but is anyone else getting sick of people posting up cards with no prices lately and asking for offers when said cards are really easy to price? I can understand if it's a card with no comps but c'mon, if you aren't giving prices for easy to price cards aren't you just hoping someone offers a stupid amount higher than what it's worth (i.e. trying to rip people off)? If there was a vote to make pricing compulsory on sale threads (maybe excluding cards numbered to 10 or less) I would definitely vote yes.

Does my head in. Not to even mention the fact earlier that you send these nice messages complimenting people on their easy to price cards and see if you can work out a price and they couldn't even be bothered responding. Seems like there's some only interested in stroking their own egos.

Yep agree. I‘m using Facebook more now as groups tend to have a rule that cards must be priced. For 1/1s or other cards tough to price, put the price you would definitely sell for, and say ‘or best offer’ so you can test the market that way.

i agree, there needs to be pricing on the sale thread or delete post. if you want ppl to bid against each other via private messaging, go on ebay and pay the fees.

been outta the game for 20 years, just randomly found these jordan cards and i have no idea what they are worth. selling them, but make an offer and no lowballing

as someone who doesnt price his cards, i still totally agree and would vote YES. but i dont price because im lazy and cant be bothered researching all the cards i want to sell, when in actuality, no one will ever even ask about the majority of them. but i also dont ask for offers. if someone PMs me asking about a card, i take the 5 minutes to have a look and i give them a starting price.
its the same on e-bay tho, with people putting up cards for ridiculous BIN prices in the hopes that some beginner or outsider will wander across it...

im at a stage now where if the seller wont give me a starting price, i wont deal with them...theyre hustlers.

Yep. I bet you're referring to exactly what I saw today. Openly asking for offers and then after you do offer 'Í'll ask around' is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. I couldn't bear the thought of having to open a facebook account just to buy/sell cards but it's heading that way. It's time to cut the crap.
