Just a single that I thought I would post up before I do a catchup mailday of all my pickups from the last few weeks!
I was going through a bunch of base sets the other night to get some together for some OCT'ers and I stumbled across a base card from 09/10 Upper Deck Draft Edition. It is a rookie card of a fella from Perth who transferred to play college ball for Utah and was 'available' for drafting in the 09/10 class. He attended a camp with Cleveland and then played a few games in the D League before trying his luck in Russia for a very short time. He then came back to Oz and played for Melbourne before being traded back to Perth where he now plays for the No 1 NBL team
I was surprised when I saw the card as I know of Luke from watching/going to the Wildcats games, but never knew he was in the States and got so close to the NBA. So I decided to try my luck with my neighbour who happens to be the Wildcats commentator, Channel 10 Sports News presenter and No -1 Wildcats ticket holder.
I gave the card to him on Tuesday evening..... and got it back yesterday...
Just wish the marker worked a bit better
But anyway, I thought it was pretty cool!!!
