you are correct sir... But never played for Portland in 10/11 season due to injury so 11/12 was considered rookie season a la Blake Griffin. I guess they have just re-released RC's for him
Whats an Elliot Williams? Lol
Also,what be thy other error?
I think all, or most, of Panini's 10/11 stuff was printed pre-injury for Blake and they couldn't release half normal and half RC. Whereas with the lock out and stuff they hadn't printed 11/12/13 stuff for Elliot Williams so they could re-release his stuff as RC's to coincide with his delayed Rookie Season.Understood.... but they never Blake Griffin's 09/10 cards were still his RC's. None of his 10-11 cards were called RC's!

Exactly... He was drafted in 10-11 so he had rookie stuff printed then. But he was injured before the 10-11 season. But because Panini hadn't started printing 11/12 stuff due to the lockout they were able to make Elliot Williams' stuff rookie. So if the lockout didn't delay the 11-12 season they would have started printing Elliot Williams as a regular player but because of the delay of the 11/12 season they were able to change it pre-printing.The 10-11 Season wasn't delayed! It was the 11-12 that was!
The ol' switcheroo with Tristan Thompson and Alonzo Gee I believe!

The bolded part is correct.Nope.... sorry.... still doesn't make sense to me!
You are saying that if there was no delay, the 11-12 stuff wouldn't have been RC, but because of the delay, they changed it to be RC.... even though they already included him as a rookie in:
10-11 Absolute
10-11 Classics
10-11 Donruss
10-11 Limited
10-11 Gold Standard (now I think of it, I am still waiting on my redemption for his GS Rookie Auto)
10-11 Threads
10-11 National Treasures
10-11 Prestige
10-11 Rookie & Stars
10-11 Timeless Treasures
10-11 Totally Certified
The bolded part is correct.
the majority of the products you have listed would have begun printing before his injury and they couldn't exactly stop printing his RC stuff when he got injured. So they had to continue with that through the 10/11 products. And due to his injury, 11-12 is technically his rookie year and due to the delay they were able to change it to reflect 11/12 as his rookie year before printing.
Wasn't there a big sook about Blake's 10/11 cards not being RC's?Ok.... now I get what you are saying.....
You mean that they WANTED to make 2 years of products as is RC's but they weren't going to be able to, until the lockout.
Why would they want to make the 11-12 stuff his RC's?
Once they have made that many cards as RC's, the boat has sailed!
This is a bunch of grown men that collect cardboard with pictures of other men on it.... there will ALWAYS be sooking! hahahaWasn't there a big sook about Blake's 10/11 cards not being RC's?
