Predictor Cards AFL Select

Can someone explain to me the Predictor card concept
I thought with predictor cards if the team you had won the GF you redeem it and get a "special" card but more recently I see they can be redeemed for rookie cards if this is so and you purchase an unredeemed rookie card can I then redeem it for rookie card can anybody shed some light on it???

There are 16 predictor cards, one for each club each year. A full set is redeemable for a 16 card rookie set, one from each club plus a special 3 card set of the team that won the flag.
If you have the Predictor card of the team that won the flag, you can redeem that card on its own for the 3 card premiership set plus the rookie card from that team.
However, if you get that card you are better off collecting the other 15 cards and redeeming the whole set as the winning predictor is worth the most and the others are cheap.
When the sets are sent out you get the redeemed predictors back. They will have a hole punched in to show they have already been redeemed. Hope this helps.
