As we have discussed in our Dream teams thread the brownlow seems to be a pretty hot topic....so here's your chance...

* Who do you think is leading at the moment and
* Who do you think will win it??

Me...well as mentioned, had the dees won a couple more games #-o Cameron Bruce would be fairing much better, but I would have to say that Dean Cox or Lenny Hayes would be leading the votes so far.

As for my winner...Dean Cox.=D>

A three peat is on the cards and anyone of the eagles will win it! ;) Daniel Kerr's turn! He would have polled in Rds 1, 2 and possibly 3, but had an ordinary game agaist the roos. If Rowan Jones keeps up his form, he may poll a few too. Coxy is a pretty short fav already. He gets lots of stats via hard running, but many are uncontested so we'll have to wait and see what the umps think.
 
I say Cox may be leading, though my prediction, provided Hawks can win 8 games this year is Luke Hodge... he would be right up there already.... he is pure class.... PURE class...

And im gunna say Lenny Hayes all the way baby....Unless Nick or Nick fires up and takes votes from him

I'll give you that, Chad Cornes is an awesome player.... so long as he doesn't get himself rubbed out.... Chad is the one player from Port I do not mind....
 
westy has been around a long time i reckon he deserves it.alot of players kick backwards sideways.ect,doesnt make them overated

Very similar to what the BLions achieved, almost spooky!

I've got two bets on at the moment, Sam Mitchell (the other Hawk) and Cameron Bruce. Brownlow is a good way to pick some players that haven't started off yet. I got Michael Voss at 100:1 when he won the brownlow! The next year or the year after I got him at 301:1 and he came second! My stock standard was always Vossy coz he is the reason I got into footy!

Leader at the moment - Scott West
Winner - Scott West (only because i don't want to jinx Dean Cox).

Who saw the sign held by the WCE supporter on the weekend - It read:

"We have BIG cox" - Gold I say Gold !!!
 
My favourite was when Sydney used to play Eagles and the comentators would say
"Ball's on Cox" :D

Just about everyone gets possessions that way these days... West at least puts his head over the ball to earn it....

Though I tell you what (this will start a war) most undeserving winner of recent times is Buckley... he had tonnes of possessions kicked a few goals blah blah blah... but he was wasteful... but hey who cares they had to have a Victorian team win one...
