POTM - July

Hey Traders.

Its here. Time to kick the POTM in the bum and get it going for everyone. I know its a day early, but what the heck! So Please feel free to post up your cards and what comp you wish to have your in.

***POTM CONTEST INFO****​

Being we are about a week away from getting the POTM competition going.

We are lucky enough to have some great people giving awards for the best of the best.

With saying this and listening to everyone's ideas on what to do and what not to do, I have made an executive, or not so executive decision.

SO everyone has a chance to get in the action, I have broken it down to the following category and awards.

Best card..... 25.00 award will be given by DACARDWORLD.

Best Auto ..... $20.00 will be donated by DG Collectables/Gary/Westriot, Thanks again to Gary for being a sport!

Best GU or Patch.... $15.00 will be donated by Mr Paparazzi as he is game to give everyone a little LOVE! Just no flash photography please!

Please see the following dates for the contests. This will be standard for every month.​

- All submissions are to be made of pulls from the month before. SO the August comp will be for any pulls during the month of July. Please make sure they are verifiable as we don't want fighting over your pulled that 5 months ago.... Lets keep it fair for all!

- All redemption's received from any card company can be lodged in the actual month you receive the card in hand. Not when the redemption was pulled.

- Being that we are voting on cards, its your own personal choice on what you think deserves the award, not whether its a sticker auto or a manufactured patch. A patch and an auto is just that, if you feel that its a sticker auto and its not worthy of a vote, then its your choice.

Please pick carefully which category you want your card in, as you can not put the same card in multiple contests!​

All submissions are to be made during the first week of the month. Voting will be carried out on the 8th to the 15th of the month so everyone will have a chance to vote. At the end of the 15th 9:59pm Perth time, the polls will close. Please send all submissions to myself via PM on this board!

Please see the very bottom of the post for your submission info that needs to be sent.

Winners will be notified by your me with info on how to collect your prize.

Sorry to be a pain but...

Because we are voting from the 8th - 15th of August, doesn't this mean we are submitting & voting on cards from July, hence making this the August POTM?

Well, yes and no. I will reword it for AUGUST POTM when I make the voting thread. I was trying to say that the cards you pulled in July are the ones you need to submit.

The only thing that completely sucks is I just realised it means I miss out on POTM again because my pull was from the 26th of June

It's just funny I haven't got to enter one yet, just after I started busting boxes it ended

I know it sucks for a lot of guys who missed out in those few months which is why it's awesome you've started it again. Don't get me wrong, very appreciative of the effort you've put in and the fact you have it back up and running and am looking forward to seeing the coming submissions

Haha I wish, I would have to make a 2+ hour drive to Adelaide to see Brett who'd be closed by the time I got there and I'd have to have the money to buy one anyway!!

For the auto category - And I think it helps the cause to tell you that this was pulled from a RETAIL pack lot from dacw. Best value for money ever! It was pulled on Friday 1st July so just made it!

This one is just to show all how badly I timed this break. I opened a box from Aaron (thisisselling) at around 6:00pm on Thursday 30th June. JUST missed the month! But thought I would share for kicks.

You can choose whether you want to enter it as a patch or an auto. But can only enter into one category for each card. Just make sure you post which category you want it in when you submit the pic.

The #1 draft pick from the 2004 Rookie class, from Fleer Tradition 04-05. and i'd like to point out that unlike most other GU/patches, this one came from the draft day hat and not a jersey

ok ill put this up as a patch pulled on july 29th willie warren pulled from totally certified 10/11
and in the auto ill put this derrick rose on card auto pulled from upperdeck ultimate 10/11 sorry about the poor scans my scanner is shocking lol
