Exactly what they said a few years back about Beasley. But as it turns out, Beasley is that classic "tweener" - not enough outside game, especially defensively, to play SF, and too small to play full time PF, so unless they can come off the bench and play a bit of a sparkplug role, they struggle to find a niche in the league. And I am afraid DWill is looking like a Beasley clone in that respect.
Beasley is definitely looking like a bust, but only because he's mentally very weak, addict that doesnt want to put in the work to stay on top of his game. He played like a star player in his first season with the Wolves averaging 19.3pts, but i guess after that year he showed not everybody can handle the riches of stardom.
Some people are just randomly throwing out names here though, come on now these players are definitely not busts!
Ben Wallace, undrafted player who becomes four time defensive player of the year, nba champ, 4x allstar,6x all-defensive team, 5x all-nba
gilbert arenas, 2nd round pick that averaged 29.3pts in 05-06, multiple buzzerbeaters, agent zero, 60pts career high against Kobe-Lakers
OJ Mayo, big-time scorer with the Mavericks now, so hes actually fulfilling his potential right now
Glenn Robinson, a guy averaging 20.7pts a game over an 11year career is a bust?!?
Mashburn?!? Sick-ass scorer, allstar, one of the best small-forwards of the 90s, 19.1pts career average.
