postage over Chrissy?

with all the pub holidays etc, does anyone know when they'll be back to normal? I normally dont like leaving stuff sitting in post boxes...I guess stuff should be safe inside the store?

I'm pretty sure services will be "normal" next week on Wed/Thurs/Fri and after New Years on Tue/Wed/Thurs/Fri.
Although I think you could expect packages coming from overseas to suffer from longer delays than normal for those 2 weeks.

I was talking to a OZ Post Contractor today and for the last 3 weeks he has been delivering 4000 packages a week...it is normally 300!!

Also he told me there have been delays in getting mail processed in Queensland.

postage in december in general has been crazy... ive had people receive packages/letters etc 2 weeks after i sent them, or in mousey 12's case, i sent him two packs 2 days apart, and received the 2nd one first, and then the first one about 2 weeks later.. its christmas, and im sure the post office is going crazy.. thank god its all over back to normal
