They're clearing stock of 2011 NRL Select Champions for $1.00 per pack.
INSANE!
I bought up what was left and then spent the next three hours checking out Post Offices in the Liverpool area...to no avail.
The girl at the Moorebank PO assured me ALL PO's will be down to $1.00. I'm guessing it's what's left at the Point of Sale / counter boxes. Still nine packs at $1 each was good.
Have the missus scouting out the Parramatta Post Offices as we speak.
They've had them at Moorebank, Liverpool Westfield, Parramatta GPO, Hurstville, Erina Fair PO this winter, and the last couple. They usually have the boxes at the counters and the binder/2 packs on the shelves.
But as I noted, good luck if you find some. Its probably dregs they're selling cheap, but hey, at $1 a pack, bloody good value.
Woolies servos have had them this year too.

Might not be your corner shop PO's either - more like the Post Office Stores - and depends on your area too.
If anyone sees stock of the actual cards, PM me. Not half a dozen packs, but 1/2 to full boxes. I know everyone is out to get packs and what not, but if anyone asks their PO if they have any unopened boxes, let me know. I'm keen to bust me a shed load of packs and share out the goodies. Am happy to traipse all around Sydney to do it also.
Bankstown - 2 binders for $10 - one left.
Bankstown Square - there's still a binder there but for $15
Revesby - 1 binder there...too many people, didn't ask price as labelled.
I rang the Post Office hotline, to get the local post office phone numbers.
She said she couldn't give em to me, but spent the next 30 mins ringing around Post Offices and none had stock or had pretty much recently exhausted the stock.
So, they're probably the dregs AND being snapped up quick.
If you get some, good luck to you. I grabbed some binders...got a GEM in one of the bonus packs, so happy enough. Many of the bigger Post Office stores had them...but let's face it, probably end of season stock they are burning off.
One smileless chap at a small corner store type PO had a full box and were $3. When I asked politely, he snapped that the big PO shops were selling the packs at less than what he could buy them for. Fair enough and true too. However, I cheekily said, "well when those don't sell, here's my email and I'll buy em off you half price." I won't write what his reply was. Safe to say it was blue. LOL!!!
