Hey guys thought I would post my excitement here...Brad will enjoy this!

Decided to try my hand on pokerstars with real money so deposited $50US to play some real money games. Browsed the sit & go tourneys and came across one that was about to start in 3 mins, so I registered...it only cost $1.20US and had 45 players!

2 hours later I was awarded my first ever online texas hold'em no limit poker tournament finishing in 1st place! Pocketed a cool $14US into my account, but it was the fun of having that adrenaline rush!

That's awesome JV! Just yesterday I comtemplated the same thing! lol except I'm on Ultimatebet, I tried to deposit $50US into my account, but it wouldn't accept it, so was annoyed and just played the free games, lol.

I had a few free gift vouchers to pokerroom.com. I turned the $US10 voucher into $US75 and was quite happy to take the money and run (I accumilated this amount over a few weekends,) but the catch was that I needed to play a certain amount of games to be able to withdraw my real money winnings. Well, one game I lost $50 and eventually lost the rest in a few games .

Was a great adrenaline rush for the few weeks I was able to increase my winnings, then to lose it in a few games sucked

This time was a turbo tourney, because I have bball at 9.30 so I thought I'd passs some quick time with a game! $10.80US!

The only problem there is that you get heaps of people playing and because they aren't using their own money they will play most hands and outdraw you which is no fun at all!

stars is ok if u like playing in donkaments, but if u only have a small amount of money to invest, my advice is to start bonus whoring at the sites that offer u good bonuses.
look at ladbrokes.com, im over there atm, and last time i checked, if u put in $100, they give u 100% bonus, as well as a refer a friend bonus of $50 (me being ur friend) and also a $25 player profile bonus.
all u need to do is grind out at the cash game where hands r raked, they allow the micro limit games (i suggest the 6 handed nl 10c/20c as they r the softest)
u need to play about 1000 hands in 30 days to clear it, so if u 4 table, u can do it in about 5 hrs or so.
also, the profile bonus comes in when u play 200 hands.
ladbrokes also have sports betting, so if u like to leak all ur money betting on sports results then thats a good place to go.

as far as ultimate bet goes, its one of the best sites out there (big 3, stars and party being the others). i play there as well, with one of the major benefits being the ability to use ur ub points to enter tourneys.

pm me about the refer a friend, and set up a neteller account so u can transfer ur stars money out and start bonus whoring, btw, i could have referred u to stars as well, but stars have impossible bonuses to unlock

Thanks for the info Jase, I don't have a lot of time or money to invest because of other commitments, I just enjoy playing coz it's fun! I much prefer to play a game around a table with mates, coz then you can see the dissapointment on your mates faces when you put 'em all in and then take all their chips!
