Pokémon GO Discussion and picture thread

Have two mid 600 Eevee's saved for next gen, called 'Sakura' and 'Gary Oak'. Supposed to be the right names for the two evolutions.
Just hit the 300 Magikarp candy today, what a long hard grind it is. Sure hope my 100 IV Magikarp evolves into a great Gyrardos after all this

I've added nothing in the last week unfortunately. Still on 97/97.

Yeah nice, should evolve into something decent mid-600s!

My 134CP Magikarp (my only one) is "strong", and attack is it's strongest feature, with defense just as impressive, and the assessor is "blown away by it's stats".

You think it might evolve ok?

The calculator suggests around 1400CP for Gyarados?

1400-1700 I think. I am hoping for 1800+ with my 150CP Magikarp.
Went on a 4 hour long Pokemission today and basically just collected candies, back home for 5 mins and an Exeggcutor spawns one street up from my place

I think the best random I've had spawn was Muk, he spawned at home. Apart from that, I've had to go out looking.

Nice effort tho, 4hrs!

I'd love to, but my phone sucks, ha ha. Waiting for new iPhone to come out so I can get the 6s (work phone & policy).

Yeah I just got the Galaxy S7 Edge, love it.

I was onto a Ponyta nest and plenty of Magikarp. Gotta keep going when they are spawning, that and about 20 Pokestops in easy walking distance.

Yeah that helps. Sunday when Wifey and I took the kids into town, Dratini kept spawning, so I didnt want to leave! ha ha.

I just added a Pikachu, Magmar, horses and bulbasaur from mine. 60 bulbasaur candy now and 1 short of evolving my horsea.

The Magmar was 753 but the IV's were in the 40's%....

Went chasing a Venosaur on my way home last night, but by the time I'd gone around the block, he'd gone. The age old "should have gone left instead of right" I think!

Got a nice mixed bag on my 0600 walk this morning; 2x Bellsprout, Growlithe, 3x Horsea, Squirtle, Rhyhorn & Poliwag. Evolved a Horsea into Seadra (959CP).

2 days in a row I've caught a Rhyhorn in the same location, hopefully it's a nest, and I can go back a few times to get enough candy to evolve him.

Well I now have 9 x Kangaskhan, bring on the Pokemon trade system already
Sure wish the increased spawn of Rare Pokemon would include some of the ones I don't have ...

9?! Nice! I'm 4/5 seen/caught.

You think they'll do a trade system? Be nice, even just to swap new for new with buddies - as opposed to the die-hard crazy fans wanting specific 'mon.

I havent really been thinking ahead for keeping multiples of any. Only of Eevee. I do have a couple of those with a 3rd evolution, so I don't have to evolve the 2nd evolutions again.

they haven't upped rare pokemon. they;ve just upped region locked pokemon, specifically because trading is coming and they dont want people selling region locked pokemon via trades. this was semi confirmed at gamescom in germany 2 weeks ago.

As long as I can pick up a Mr Mime, Far'fetched and a Tauros I will be happy.
Anyone else wants to trade a Snorlax, Lapras etc for one I am also keen as mustard

Never spotted or heard of Mr Mime or Far'fetched. Isnt Tauros non-native for Aussie?

Mr Mime = Europe only.
Far'fetched = Asia only.
Tauros = America only (I say America because not sure if it spawns in South America too).

Caught 2 x Kangaskhan on the morning beach walk, today alone. They are everywhere.

Yep, I also caught another Kangas this morning, only a mid 400s, but makes him easier to catch.
