Please Explain

A Question open to the public
Q1: When you enter OCT do you go straight to the Forum you frequent the most or straight to "New Posts"
The reason I ask is.. I go straight to "New Posts" to see what's new and If I'm pressed for time that's all I check before taking off to work etc. So here's my whinge..and correct me if I am wrong...I post an Item wanted thread and as new posts come mine goes further down the list and I can't bump it back to the top until 24 hours later...I can live with that...but when I bump it up 24 hours later obviously it 's back at the top but I go back 10 minutes later to " New Posts" and it's gone...is their set times when Admin trims the "New Posts" back...sometimes theres 5 pages and other times 10 threads only. as a buyer or seller you want some exposure can someone explain so I know when to bump to get maximum time at the top??? thanks in advance

I never both with the new posts link myself...... I just go read the forums I wanna read.... then I don't have to bother filtering through other rubbish.

Always new posts, I like to see whats happening all over the forum.

I generally just go straight to the Basketball forums, and also have a quick scan down the recent posts list to the right of screen.

I love the New Posts option.

What you get depends on your recent activity. If you haven't been on in a while you'd have heaps of posts under New Posts. If you were on this morning the new stuff will be from the time you left until now, so there won't be much.

This is what I've learned from my experience I may be wrong but I'm quite sure different people get different things when they press it.

Straight to the ufc section for me, i look at the general discussion if a thread title catches my eye, and often check nrl.

What you get depends on your recent activity. If you haven't been on in a while you'd have heaps of posts under New Posts. If you were on this morning the new stuff will be from the time you left until now, so there won't be much.
