Nup, not for a while yet.

Just recently (5 months ago) picked up the 360.

Ever since getting Final Fantasy XII (PS2) the 360 has just collected dust. But I do play it for NBA 2K7. I havent bought any other games than the initial ones we got with it.

Probably won't get one until Christmas (thats when i get my bonus , and prices go down/ are put in package deals for Santa to bring), but the Ninendo Wii aint too bad either, from what ive seen

man you can get an xbox 360 for $500 with a 20 Gig HD, wireless controller and remote and you can get a new Ps3 for $1000. Man thats double in price and really i dont see much difference in the 2 anyway. Bill Gates doesnt even profit on the console sales as he sells them below the cost it takes to manufacture one.
To me ive seen both of them in action and i think the graphics are very similar i actually perfer HD to blu ray and im a heaps bigger fan of all the Xbox 360 games. They will buy out the good PS games anyway and i just love all the arcade games they provide aswell.
Guitar Hero 2 on the xbox is mad fun too

im waiting til it reaches the 5 hundy mark before id even consider it (plus there will be a lot more games to choose from, at cheaper prices too). my ps2 still gets a regular workout. im still amazed sony chose to release at that $1000 price point, they must be very confident in keeping their monopoly of the games industry in oz.

I've got one and I'm sorry I bought it. Most of the games look very similar to the PS2. And you can't play most PS2 games on it. The only up side is wireless controlers. I'm actually contemplating selling it.

My brother won a PS3 in a competition in a Playstation magazine. He got a couple of games with it and he said it's not all that much 'advanced' from the PS2. The wireless controllers is the best idea ever..

The 360 is the damn same.

How freakin hard is it to allow the games to be readable?

Damn, my Xbox can almost read a damn PS1 game, (if I had the right chip in it) so how hard can it be.

I've been told by the guys at Hardly Normal (where I got the 360 from) that I had to download a "patch", - also read it on the net too, but NOOOO still won't load any of my original Xbox games.

I certainly wouldnt rush out and throw ya money away yet.

Get an Xbox, and get it modded.
I play more roms on my Xbox than I do games.
