Sorry for the late post and long post I have here guys, I have had a very busy week. Besides being able to graph these events, I had school work on top of it that needed my attention I had to get done for my busy week I had going on. So as a result, I decided to combine these recent events I did into one big post.
Last night I was able to do the Washington Wizards. It was not as exciting this time around but it was not disappointing either. Here are the results:
Pistons vs. Wizards 10/24/07
Wizards
Andray Blatche 3 cards (Still is a good signer. One guy had 9 cards of him and he did them all.)
Antonio Daniels 2 cards
Brendan Haywood 1 card
Antawn Jamison 1 card
Roger Mason 1 cards (Has a sloppy sig this time around.)
Darius Songaila 1 card
DeShawn Stevenson 2 cards (He is 2 per person.)
Nick Young 4 cards (He hates doing the topps cards. Still he signed one of mine in blue ink surprisingly and it actually did not turn out that bad. These topps cards that are out for this season will be a challenge to try to get done. Good luck with anybody that tries to get the players to sign the new Topps cards.)
Mike O'Koren 2 cards
Pistons
Michael Curry 5 cards (Someone pointed out he was doing a radio interview post game. After when the radio station was done interviewing him, he started to leave and signed my cards on his way out and I gave him a card he claims he has never seen before to keep.)
That is all result wise from this night.
As for anyone wondering about Gilbert, I heard from other collectors that he signed at the hotel sometime after lunch. Gilbert did not come out to warm up at this game here. Hopefully, I can get him again this season.
Caron Butler did sign but I ended up missing him again. All I can say is, he is becoming hard to get and heads up to anyone that sees him this season, good luck.

Detroit Pistons Crew Member Party (Tip Off Party) with Mojo!!! 10/25/07
Tonight, I was able to make it back up to The Palace again for the annual Detroit Pistons Crew Member Tip Off Party that is held for season ticket holders only. This time, the set up was much better than the one I went to last time. It was set up this time to where they had a big sign for what player would be signing at that spot. You had to get in the line at that spot for him and wait for the player to appear and all that. With one player I had in mind to get on a certain card I needed for my set, I was not going to miss out on this opportunity. I will explain more shortly. Here are the results:

Aaron Afflalo 1 card
Jarvis Hayes 8 cards (He really likes seeing the cards. He told me that he claimed to have seen all of those cards I had him sign for me before. I guess he is still looking for anyone that has any new cards for him to sign he may have out. What a nice guy.)
Amir Johnson 3 cards (He told me he has not seen the new Upper Deck card he has out this season and I was the first one to show him the new card he has out.)
Jason Maxiell 1 8x10 photo
Antonio McDyess 2 cards (He might have done more if I had them but I did not want to push it with the fact of how big the line was for him. He did 2 for me in Orlando before and my guess is that if there was not a big crowd for him, he might sign a few.)
Nazr Mohammed 2 8x10 photos, 4 cards (I never had much success with him before. That changed tonight.)
Ronald Murray 2 8x10 photos, 1 card

Rasheed Wallace 1 card!!! (I finally got him on the exact card I wanted him to do!!! When I got him the first time, it was a scramble for me to find an item for him to do since that I did not find out until like 2-3 days before that I would have a ticket for the previous crew member party that I went to last season. Over the summer, I went through my items and kept this one out in mind in hopes I could get it done this season. I am glad I have this one out of the way and it completes my 2004 World Champs set I been working on!!!)
That is all I have to share result wise for this event.
Getting Rasheed was #1 again in my book for this event. I am glad I have the exact item I wanted done out of the way. When I go home up North again in the future, I can't wait to put this set I had been working on together. I don't think I did to bad being 2nd in line for this hard to get player. Once the doors opened, I followed yet another group (lol) to locate Rasheed's line again. This set took me 3 years to complete.
There is more that I could share but I got a busy weekend coming up.
