Pistons vs. Hawks 12/14/07 & Chauncey Billups

Went and did the Atlanta Hawks back on Friday night. This will be the only game I will be doing in December. I was glad to take a break from my exam studies and do something else for a change. Here are the results:

Josh Smith 3 cards (Was glad to run into this guy again. Finally got a pic with him. One of the more nicer stars that I have met in the NBA.)
Salim Stoudamire 12 cards (Takes his time to sign everything but he will sign anything you put in front of him.)

Suprise of the day

Pistons

Jarvis Hayes 8 cards (I was shocked on getting this one. Jarvis came over to the visitors side here to sign away. I didn't get why he came to the visitors side to sign autographs but these results go to show why I always have my Pistons items with me just incase. It was the last thing I was expecting for this game but reguardless I am very happy with these results.)

Chauncey Billups

Yesterday I was able to make the drive over with a friend to a T-Mobile store in Southfield,MI where Chauncey Billups was scheduled to sign autographs for an hour. Thankfully I was able to bring a friend with me to help me get another item done!!! We went early to get in line and ended up getting a ticket so we could come back later. In the process, we were able to vote for the NBA All Stars and play a plinko game set up by a couple Pistons employees to win a prize. I ended up winning a duffell bag!!! Alright here are the results from this appearance:

Why do you say that he'll be out of the NBA soon? While he isnt a quality starter, he has size, is young (23) and is one of the better offensive rebounders in the league. There is always a place in the NBA for good backup bigs. He also has a very palatable contract (2 years left at $4 mill per year). I think he would be able to stick as a backup centre over the next few years. Out of those who you got signed, I think Solomon Jones will be the first one not in the NBA.

Looks like you got some good autos there, I too would like to see some scans.

As for scans guys, I won't be able to have anything up til near the end of the week as I got exams going on this week. I will try to get something up Thursday or Friday.
