Jameson Taillon, the top pitching prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ organization, was born in Florida, raised in Texas and claims dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada because both of his parents were born north of the border. To be sure, the 6-6, 235-pound righthander is a well-traveled young man who cuts a rather imposing figure on the mound. Off the diamond, though, Taillon is a laid-back creature of habit with a keen sense of humor.
We found that out firsthand last Thursday during the Tampa leg of the Panini Spring Training Road Trip when Taillon stopped in to sign his 2014 Prizm Baseball autographs. When he was done, he sat down for a quick video interview.
