Well im going on Friday night to watch this one, cant wait. One of my fav lot of movies these Pirates ones.

Jack Sparrow is a dead set legend lol.

Anyone else going to see it?
 
1st one was awesome fell aslepp watchin the 2nd one..then thought it was because I was really tired so got it agin and fell asleep again....it was terrible....lets hope its like the 1st one.
 
gonna go to the drive in thursday night to watch it and see if i can run my battery dead in my car again with my stereo going all night :)

should be a good movie though.

has keith richards in it too ya?
 
hey.. thanks for the heads up, i am so tied up with other stuff and didn't realise POTC III is coming this week

will go check it out for sure... yay..
 
Well went and watched it last night. Went for almost 3 hrs, a little too long. But still some very funny parts and overal was a good movie. Im not sure if there will be a forth one, but going by the ending maybe just maybe there might be one more....
 
I didn't like it. There were cool bits as with any big budget movie, and johnny was funny as always, but it really wasn't a great movie. :(
 
Sold out last night dude. I booked 2 days ahead. And that was in VMax at Knox which is a double the size of normal cinema!

Well, VMax at KNox is probably the best place to watch hehe..
i went to Melbourne Central last night.. all packed.. didn't watch it...

maybe next week, hopefully people finish watching POTC III..

i thought it was ok but not as good as the first 2. they did leave it open for a forth but saw an interview with johnny depp and he said he wont play sparrow again. so they have to not include him if they do it.
 
I heard Johnny Depp said he would be happy to play a Pirate role for every other movie he makes :lol:

I haven't seen it yet but i think it will be average because they rushed it. They could of had some more time off befour they started filming and they also could of written a better script.
 
Saw it ysety arvo.

Not as great as the 2nd. I really missed the "Crackin". (sorry for the spoiler).

I still don't see how it's been left open for a 4th Episode. Sure, they end by continuing on, and set out for a new adventure, but... Unlike how the 2nd ends, or the first... there's nothing that says "we're coming back".

Can anyone confirm if there was any footage after the credits?? We didnt stick around, and I forgot all about it.
 
Yeah there was footage after the credits, 10 years later, Will comes back to Elizabeth and she has his now 10 year old child with her. She's walking to the cliff top and the green flash happens and his ship comes sailing towards them in the sunrise. ;)
 
i must admit the third movie was somewhat disappointing, compared to the second one, it was awesome...

just saw it tonight... the story was okay.. but it's a bit boring this time.. this is like nobody's bad or everyone's bad movie.. :lol:

but quite entertaining... just as spiderman was..
 
I realised now, that the way it ends, it does leave it open for a 4th instalment.. as you see Jack going after the Fountain of Life or whatever it was.

I might have to have a look on the net for that bonus footage.
 
Yeap. could be a fourth.. but heard Depp mentioned he doesn't want to play any more Jack Sparrow character..??

But I am sure there will be alot of legends and stories about pirates, so i think Walt Disney will continue... pretty good money actually... :)
