PayPal Question

I'm wondering if someone can help me.

So I'm trying to purchase a card from a member on BO.

PayPal won't let me use a US address for the sale. I can only use my Oz address.

I have a COMC account which has been verified and I use for eBay but it doesn't show up and I can't "add" a US address either.

Anyone know how to get around this. Obviously the seller wants the card to be delivered to the same address as what PayPal says.

Never really got how that confirmed address works on paypal. For us outside of the US it is not supposed to work.
I did notice yesterday, when sending money there is a little drop down arrow next to address ... maybe try that see how you go.
If you have no luck I would give their tech support a call.

When I get to the "select address" part, there is a drop down box but it only allows for my Oz addresses, not any US addresses I use.

It's like PayPal has a different rule to eBay possibly.

Thought it was a long shot, sorry mate.
I would get on the blower to their techies, see if they can help.

I found a thread which said you can't add a US address with PayPal. You can for eBay purchases, but not PayPal payments.

Even though the COMC account I use is confirmed.

Bit of a pain really. Means I can't but off US sellers straight through PayPal unless they're comfortable sending to my COMC address with the address on the PayPal receipt being different.

Try clicking the classic site link, near bottom of page. Looks like you might be able to add a US shipping address through there

I can add an address. That I have. But when I go to pay someone in the US, I can't get them to send to my US address as PayPal re-directs me back to the Aus site. Won't let me put my US address down even using the classic site link.

eBay is fine with it, but PayPal is not.

Thanks for the heads up. The seller is just gonna post to my COMC address anyway.
