Just got off the phone to PP, and they've informed me that as a SELLER, you are allowed 3 claims per calendar year.

As a buyer, you have no limit.

You are entitled to file a complaint against a seller(s) as often as it see's fit (obviously you need only file if you are wronged).

I was concerned, as I have had 5 filed since the start of this year, 6 total now with my latest.

I hope this helps some of you guys as it helped me understand it easier.

PayPal # is (02) 8223 9500 or there's another 1800 073 263.

Thanks Mavs. I think details like these should be combined and permanently posted up. Just our way of helping out noobies (& some veterans), and you have an easy to find reference for ebay & paypal.

Why would you need a claim as a seller?? Thats not what I've been told and not whats on the site. I know people that have had the 3 claim limit on chargebacks. I'll ask Serf tonight to clear it up. Paypal are like Telstra and every oprerator says a different thing each time.

Yeah, I agree.

I was told that as a seller, you are allowed only 3 claims for protection as a seller, when a buyer disputes a transaction, you have protection 3 times. Like you can save your money or something??

It's strange, but clarification would be spot on!!!
