PayPal Delay?

Ok, NORMALLY, everything's fine with me with PayPal, but this morning I've paid for 2 items on ebay. Ebay shows that the items have been paid, BUT the icon for being paid is not highlighted.

I've gone to PayPal, and there's no history, and I've got no email receipts.

Nothing changed in the way I made this payment, ie, I went through ebay, logged into PayPal, confirmed the payment, and sent it.

Should I just wait a while, or something????

Has happened to me before Scotty. Just give it a few hours and check back!

I get it often where my Paypal balance changes, but not the transaction list!

Yeah ebay isnt showing them as paid, but they say I can mark it unpaid, and/or leave feedback. Still no updates on PayPal. Balance showing is correct as of a couple days ago after I made a payment. Strange.

I'll look back again this arvy. Thanks for the help bud!
 
Update. Still nothing on either end, BUT I un-marked the payment sent on ebay, and went to re-do, and got this:
We're currently processing your payment.
  • There's no need to make an additional payment at this time. You may check the status of your payment and your other purchases in My eBay.
 
SAME HERE!
Same thing is happening to me with paypal, paid for things yet ebay and paypal haven't showed up yet!
I guess its just a back log, i'm not to worried about...
Another issue i'm having is, i sent a payment via ebay/paypal to someone a few days ago, but for some reason it says its UNCLAIMED and the seller is still waiting for payment?
Is the issue on my end or the seller's?
Seems wierd as i have done another 5 or so transactions without issue on other items....
 
Just had the same thing happen to me, paid for items and nothing has happened, no email receipt so far.

Is usually automatic, hoping nothing is wrong :eek:

I think its happening to alot of people, me included....
I checked with a seller i bought something off and he said he got the money ok....
But another seller said he hasn't got the money but ebay is saying payment has been completed....
It must be a paypal issue, i'm sure it will be sorted out....
I wouldn't be too worried about it....
But it is very annoying!
 
I got an email late last night that said:


Sorry, your recent PayPal payment did not go through. As a result, the item(s) below have not received payment.

Please return to eBay to resubmit your payment again.
 
Seems there was an issue last night, but should all be resolved now.

I've managed to resend 1 payment this morning (10mins ago), and am waiting from @eBayAU (twitter) to assist with my last payment. Ebay says it's been sent, but then I have an email saying I need to resend it. And when I try, it tells me it's unavailable for payment... strange.

PayPal still hasnt updated, but I have my receipt emails.
 
So ebay just rang me, and it's all sorted.

Because I had this transaction in log BEFORE they had their glitch, I had to un-mark the payment being sent, and re-send it. I couldnt do this yesterday, and could only do it when they told me they had "refreshed" something.

If anyone else is still having this issue, hit them up on Twitter! Worked for me :thumbsup:
 
OK, so now I'm confused!!!

The other day when I recieved an email about resending payments, first thing I did was send it to the ebay spoof account for verification.

This Tuesday, I received a phone call stating that my payment hadnt gone through (correct, I had no receipts or tracking in PayPal of it working), and that I had to unmark the payment being sent, and resend it. Went through it whilst I had Ebay guy on the phone, then got my receipt from PayPal, everything checked out.

Today, I get this:

LOL, if it wasnt bad enough all this confusion with Ebay, I just got a refund from the seller of whom I had issues paying.

Tells me they've a family emergency and had to go interstate for over a month, and that it wasnt fair on their buyers to not be able to get their cards until they return to post them out.

We're only talking a $5 card here, and I've wished them all the best, and asked that they give me the opportunity to buy it again when they return.

(I HOPE it's all legit).
 
Run away Scotty!! I don't know how many times you need to be given a sign that this card is cursed!! hahahaha

Feels like I've been hit with a big ebay-hammer, and have little ebay birdies flying around my head!!!
 
I had an issue yesterday trying to pay $19, kept on saying insufficient funds, had over $100 in the account, finally got ooneil (Owen) to pay on my behalf, i could transfer to Owen, but not to the other guy (Bryan), rang Paypal said everything is fine on my side, they didn't not know why it was happening...

I got the same email regarding resending the payment, no chance it was fraudulent as it was also in My Ebay messages inbox.

Since they sent the email, have had no problems with paying once again. Seems it is all back to normal now.
