Paypal advice wanted

Hi i need some help pl, i recently purchased an item via paypal 4 the 1st time a couple of days ago and it just says payment is pending through paypal does this mean the seller has not recieved payment yet if so how long does this process usually take and does the money come out of my bank straight away 4 the transaction , thanx in advance, mat

usually takes 2-4 business days when done straight out of a bank account Bas. The seller has to accept the payment as well, i think, not entirely sure about that...

There are 2 reasons for the delay...
1. You paid by e-cheque (why people use these I'll never know)
or
2. The seller converts his payments from Aust Dollars into US dollars which requires him/her to Accept or Refuse the payment. Paypal send a reminder to the seller after 4 days if it hasn't been accepted in that time. The seller has 30 days to accept or the payment gets refunded.
