Pay pal problem any help would be great.

Hey peoples, I just had my paypal account locked by paypal and I was not able to pay any sellers or withdraw money. This happend about 5-7 days ago.
I then figured out what to do and they ask for my acount number to verify I know its me before they unblock my acount. I did this and now they want some verifcation notice ****. The reason why they blocked my account was because they said they thought it had been accessed by some one else which is fair enough. The bit I want to know is weather you guys had the problem and what I can do know.

Any help would be much appricioated.

Best bet would be to give them a call mate...... don't bother with email.

It happened to me the otherday because I filed a chargeback for rceipt of non goods.

When you log into your paypal you should get a message saying that it is blocked and it gives you a link (or something similar) to follow that takes you to a page where you have to do about 4 different things

They were verify credit card which for me was showing as completed, send in documentation confirming your address and name, I scanned a telephone bill then downloaded it via the website, change your password and change your security questions.

I phoned there customer service line and had some a-hole tell me I was not being penalised. Told him that I had no idea what counrty he was calling fromn but when I was unable to use something then I called that being penalised.

The account was re-instated the following day, it may be a pain but it is a simple process to follow

Had this happen to me when i started my own paypal account and sent my money from my old lady's account to mine. They put a temporary hold on the accounts which lasted over 2 weeks!

After 12 phone calls to paypal and about 30 emails through ebay to sellers i couldn't pay i finally had it sorted out

Going through some PayPal issues too, faxed through the necessaries 3 weeks ago, got some confirmation they received them, but still waiting for the issue to be fixed. [sarcasm] Calling them is so much fun, almost as enjoyable as dealing with centrelink [/sarcasm]..
Thankfully my account isn't locked, so not as bad. Hope yours works out soon

Haha whoops, so i got this egg on my face, and I can't work the shoehorn to remove my foot from my mouth! No personal offence intended, just had a fun ride with them to the point where I just conceeded and forfeited certain entitlements.
(Plus, you're a LOST fan, so that pretty much makes you automatically awesome!)
