Got this in the other day and was pretty pissed to see it arrive in a white envelope with 1 thin layer of bublewrap on it. The envelope was ripped up so i knew the card was going to be damaged.
On a better note had this arrive on Friday which made me a little happier.
Nah it was a nice seller from China on ebay, got in contact with him and he expects me to send it back to China with tracking so looks like im taking a loss on this one as i refuse to pay $20 to have no card at all
I had something similar happen with a 09-10 SPGU Jermaine O' Neal Logoman from Indonesia, although the damage to the card wasn't as bad. Good luck getting your cash back.
Yeah some sellers suck, its in the hands of ebay now but i wont be sending it back unless im reimbursed fully for postage as it cost me $50 and return postage will run me $20. I'd rather have a bent card then be $20 out of pocket and have nothing to show for it.
The weird thing is the card was in a toploader with 2 cards on either side of it, the 2 other cards have no damage whatsoever but the toploader was all smashed up
thats unbelievable, let us know what happens with this. as mentioned before it does sound like it was possibly damaged before they put it in the envelope. i know this is a stupid question but i gotta ask, did the sale pictures show any damage at all before you bought it?
what a freakin idiot!! i swear some people do anythign to save on shipping. if you want to return it, do so and send it to him the same way he sent it to you (in a white plain envelope). now thinking about it...... i actually have a registered post (prepaid envelope) that comes with tracking/delivery confirmation in the price (or i think you may need to pay like $1-$2 extra). but the envelope is paid for already, just put the card in it with the bubble-wrap on front exactly how he sent it to you and then return it. it'll be covered with paypal aswell to verify you returned it. I think i paid like $10 for the prepaid regisetred envelope, but if you want it lmk and i dont want anything for it bro. a real shame this has happened, especially being the card has a sweeet patch on it.
It was in a top loader with a card on either side of it but it still managed to get bent in half without the other 2 cards suffering any damage at all. Pretty weird but all the other signs were that it was damaged in the post
