Picked these up after tonights game. Only need Robertson for my Manly set. Was rather eventful after the game. Trent Waterhouse nearly smacked out one of the EBay sellers. Choc Watmough fired up at some autograph hunters. I managed to get Brett Stewart which was lucky.

This seller who is known to all the players said something about Waterhouse as he was walking away, Trent took offense and turned around and walked towards him asking what he said. To his credit he didn't do anything but turned away and a bloke he was with had a few words with the seller.

Girds might be able to elaborate more on the Watmough story as his sister was an innocent by stander.

Choc didn't seem in a good mood to start with, he was keen to get out of there. Girds and I managed to get his autograph early, however down near the bus he started calling a guy a liar and a piece of $hit cause he had more than one of the same card to be signed.

It seemed like an eBay sellers convention tonight, even over heard them discussing how much they each make.

Exactly the sort of thing that is going to stop people from being able to get autos soon. Shame to hear. there are so many total dickheads around its not funny. I think they are starting to take over.

There were 3 incidents.

the first was the waterhouse, a rude remark was made then he turned around and fronted the guy, but the (*****) ie. (coasts sports) mentioned in the other thread calmed his made the (loud mouth) down.

the second was choc watmough. he turned some guy down for 3 and did 1. then the guy went back like 2 mins later thinking watmough wouldn't remember his face, giving him the ****s.

the third was the manly CEO trying to get them on the bus, ripping a guys jersey out of ballins hand, then peter peters abused the guy, throwing F bombs in there, after a series of exchanged f bombs, the kid asked him as to why he was talking liek this with kids around, then the CEO called for security.

Ebay sellers need to stop being able to get signatures as freely as they do. Soon enough players wont sign even for the most dedicated of fans. I only get signatures from the panthers once a year if lucky (at the titans away game+ once in penrith if i have the cash for a trip). So if i have 2-3 things, the players will start to assume im selling, when an actual fact is i havent sold a panthers signed card/item ever - i collect them for my own purposes only. Would of loved to see waterhouse hit that guy, he must of said something very offensive - as all the times ive met waterhouse, he has been friendly and polite. But maybe thats because im always friendly and polite to all the players i meet. You would almost go to say that soon enough they will make it ticketed members only allowed into the area where they sign autographs...

i overheard that they are putting in his picture in the sheds, and all the players are supposed to turn him down. not sure if it will happen just what i heard.

what a interesting day for you guys Nice pick ups rekless and you too girds... yep they r making hard for us collectors im glad down here it doesnt seem as bad yet.... i guess some of them are known by the players by now and they are getting frustated by them constantly hasseling them most of the players know the true collectors... i wonder if they go on ebay and see what the are going for lol....... some of them would be shocked im only worth 2.00 lol i remember big mal saying one time he doesnt care what he signs a 1000 times but cards really give him the .....ts.... i put our cards on a board with a clip ( only one or two at a time ) when i get them signed some players have said what a good idea makes it easy for them to sign card doesnt get bent fingermarks etc i can see some players thinking mmm maybe this guy is a seller cause hes organised and ready to go.. i think they might well do that Girds not a bad idea from them

Choc has turned me down before. It was right after a whole pile of Coastsport kids had smashed him and he thought I was with them. I vote we all start taking pictures of the offenders and post them up on a designated Ebay seller thread, or send the photos through to the clubs.

By the way nice cards. Hoping to have some of them in my collection soon.
